Hamsters
Hamsters can provide hours of entertainment. The care is fairly basic. You’ll need a 12"x24" cage to have a happy hamster. Provide an exercise wheel that is solid-not one with wire rungs as they can injure themselves in this type. At TamedPets, you get tamed hamsters which are comfortable being held. It can be quite fun to watch a hamster run inside of his enclosed exercise ball running across the floor and bumping into walls and toes. Hamsters will come to know your scent and will respond to your voice. You can expect a hamster to live up to three years.
Hamster, their cage, food, toys, wheel, tunnels, hamster rolling balls, bedding, supplements & pellets are readily available with TamedPets store.

- There are 3 types of guinea pigs – the first is the American/English one which has short hair with a smooth coat. The second is the Abyssinian guinea pig which has a more wiry coat with hair that forms swirls similar to rosettes. Lastly, the third are the Peruvian guinea pigs which have straight, long and silky hair
Food: Hay, Grass,Vegitables and Fruits.
Guinea pigs as Pets:
- Cavies have a very good sense of smell and sensitive hearing.
- Despite being called 'guinea pigs' they are not in the pig family or from Guinea.
- They love to vocalize with squeals, chirps, squeaks, and whistles.
- Guinea pigs are cuddly, comical, and clever. They make wonderful pets for children and can be very social animals. Although not known for their intelligence, they do recognize their owners and will seek them out and return affection.
- The animals do better in pairs as they prefer company, so unless you have a lot of time to devote to your pet getting at least two is often a good idea.
- They are not expensive to own and the biggest expense is the initial setting up of housing. Guinea pigs are hardy pets so veterinarian expenses are minimal.
- Their teeth continue growing throughout their lives which is why it's important for them to constantly gnaw on the things they like to eat so they wear their teeth down
