How to care for your Dogs:

Hi All,
As we are all united in the name of animals, Its crucial time for us to help the co-livers in the planet. As most of our planet are exploited by our own kind, its our responsibility to respect and support their coexistence.
Animals around us are unaware of the Virus/Bacteria/Fungus or even the CORONA - COVID19. The LOCKOUTS are entirely new for both the indoor and outdoor Pets/unowned. 
Here we are planning to give some basic information for common people on what to do and what not to do.

We categorize dogs into Indoor/owned dogs and Outdoor/un-owned (Stray) dogs
Basic Needs of dogs are Food,Water,Shelter,Security and comfort
The below are based on current scenario only. Where the supply chain is interrupted.

Indoor/owned dogs
Food and Water

• We recommend quality food, protein, balanced dog food twice a day for adult dogs. ...
  • Boiled rice mixed with few pellets of ready-made brands to hold the flavor they are used to.
  • Bread smashed with eggs 
  • Boiled rice smashed with boiled eggs.
• Water:Your dog should always have access to fresh, clean water. It should be changed at least two times a day.

Shelter, Security, comfort

• A dog's bed is a source of comfort. Sleeping habits will depend on you! Many dogs will sleep with their owners; however, training professionals will not recommend this for dogs who require stricter boundaries.
• If your pet does not sleep with you, create a cozy sleeping place, preferably with the pack (you or other humans/dogs in the house). We recommend having beds in rooms where they spend a lot of time.

Health and Exercise. ...

• In Current LOCKOUT conditions, only basic exercise in your balcony and terrace will be advisable. If its a shared space, avoid the walk.
• Even though exercise and socialization is important to maintain muscle mass on aging joints. Exercise needs may/should change with their health condition, breed, age and size, so make sure to assess your dog’s ability to keep up.
• Try not taking your new dog or a walk, or to visit with neighborhood dogs. Your dog may get easily infected and also unsafe for you in current conditions.
• Playing with your dog is another great way to exercise and strengthen the bond between you and your pet. This will help him feel like a true member of your family. During playtime, change out his toys to keep him interested and challenged.
• Puppies should stick to walking around the block and backyard playtime. A junior dog can evolve into your running buddy. 
• EXTENSIVE TRAINING ON BEHAVIOR OR DISCIPLINE THROUGH HARD WAYS NEEDS TO BE AVOIDED FOR EVER.

Grooming.

• Your dog’s basic grooming needs include
  • Nail trimming,
  • Brushing,
  • Bathing,
  • Dental hygiene and
  • Ear cleaning.
• Grooming needs to be safe and only if needed. Because you may overdo it as you are not an expert.
• Teach your kids on responsibilities and take their help.

SENIOR DOGS ARE TO BE TAKEN CARE WITH UTMOST LOVE AND AFFECTION.

Outdoor/un-owned (Stray) dogs

Food and Water

• Respect and give whatever edible food you can.
  • Boiled rice mixed with Milk
  • Bread smashed with eggs 
  • Boiled rice smashed with boiled eggs.
  • Biscuits, rusk, bread, bun
• Water:Dogs should always have access to fresh, clean water. 

Shelter, Security, comfort

• Please dont make them run from one place to other.
• Feed them if possible at least until its normal outside.
• Else just stay away from them without hurting them. 
• Allow them sleep inside your apartment campus or below your car.
• Stand for them when others try to hurt them.
